1. Information We Collect
You do not need an account to browse and read articles on Lavix Sports. Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider, automatically receives standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, referring pages, and security metrics to deliver and protect the site.
2. Third-Party Advertising & Cookies
Lavix Sports uses Google AdSense to serve advertisements. In accordance with Google advertising policies, please note the following:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites on the Internet.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve personalized ads to our visitors based on their visit to Lavix Sports and other sites across the web.
- Users may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings or by visiting www.aboutads.info.
Newsletter subscriptions
If you subscribe on our homepage, we store your email address and subscription status in our Cloudflare-hosted database to manage football update subscriptions. We do not ask for a name or password. Submitting the form records your subscription; it does not send an immediate email.
Newsletter emails include an unsubscribe link. Opening it shows a confirmation page; confirming marks your subscription as unsubscribed. We retain that status to prevent further delivery. You can also withdraw your subscription or request deletion by emailing privacy@lavixsports.com from the subscribed address. We keep the record while you remain subscribed unless you request deletion. Only authorised site administrators should access subscriber records.
Newsroom draft recovery
Newsroom writers can optionally keep a recovery copy of article text and fields in local storage on their device. Recovery is off unless enabled. Copies can remain after closing or locking the newsroom and can be deleted using Delete recovery copy. Use this option only on a trusted device. Saving or explicitly discarding a story clears its recovery copy. Recovery does not send keystrokes to our server.
Reader comments
When you submit a comment, we store its text, the article it belongs to, a generic reader display name, its submission date and its moderation status in our Cloudflare-hosted database. Comments are reviewed before publication. Approved comments appear publicly; do not include private or sensitive information in your comment. To request removal, contact us with the article link and the comment text.
3. Analytics & Performance
We may use privacy-preserving web analytics to understand overall readership trends and improve our editorial football coverage. These analytics do not track personal identifying information.
4. Data Retention & Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (such as the EEA, UK, or California), you have rights regarding your personal data. To ask a privacy question or request deletion of any information, please reach out via our Contact page.
5. Contact Information
For privacy-related inquiries, please email privacy@lavixsports.com or contact@lavixsports.com.
